**Bhubaneswar: ** While the beneficiaries of the ‘KALIA’ scheme have already got their financial assistance in Phase-I and the requisite fund has been deposited to their respective bank accounts via DBT mode, the much-awaited Phase-II assistance will be released by the Odisha Government on February 21.
All the eligible small and marginal farmers enlisted for the Phase-II will get benefitted on the day.
This was informed today by Odisha Agriculture Secretary Saurabh Garg at the State Secretariat here.
Briefing media, Garg said, “The Phase-II KALIA assistance to the small and marginal farmer beneficiaries will be given away day after tomorrow, i.e. on February 21 at the Bargarh convention.”
He also informed, “Our data analysis is still underway. But we think, between 11-12 lakh small and marginal farmer beneficiaries will reap the benefit. Final number will be available by tomorrow from our ongoing data analysis. We have also programme for the Phase III.”
