Angul: Making Odisha proud, Angul girl Smrutishree Singh has made it to the top 15 the sixth season of MasterChef India, nation’s sole cooking reality show.
26-year-old Smrutishree floored the judging trio of- Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Vineet Bhatia- with her innovative ‘Kuttu-a-Pasta’. The judges were impressed with this healthy version of pasta which also took a very short time to cook.
After being presented with the Masterchef apron, Smrutishree said that through her cooking she wishes to give an independent identity to Odisha.
Previously, she had beaten over 50 contestants in mega auditions of the MasterChef India which was held in Odisha.
Accompanying Smrutishree is another contestant from Odisha. Abinash Nayak of Aska, Ganjam had previously made it to the top 10 after wowing the judges with his Chicken Besara.
The popular cooking reality show is aired on Star Plus at 9.30 pm on weekends.
