ICC World Cup 2019: Rain Halts India-Pakistan Face-Off

Bhubaneswar: Rain has played spoilsport yet again as India Pakistan match of ICC World Cup 2019 had to be halted in the second innings after 35 overs were bowled.

The Pakistan team had scored 166 with the loss of six wickets. Pakistan got off to a sluggish start. After 10 overs, Pakistan were 38 for one in reply to India's 336 for five.

For Pakistan, opener Fakhar Zaman scored 62. The second top-scorer was Babar Azam who scored 48 runs with three bounaries and a six.

India's bowling line-up displayed a discplined performance yet again. Vijay Shankar, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each.

The umpires and officials were yet to take a decision on the fate of the match till the last reports came.
