Puri: The Puri Kinnar Association celebrated the Children’s Day in an unique way by spending time with the kids in the orphanage 'Utkal Balashram' of Puri. The transgenders were seen singing, dancing and playing with the children and living their lost childhood in the orphanage on this special day.

"We were delighted to be among the children on this auspicious day. As transgenders, we never got the love and affection of our parents, so we can understand the plight of these orphans. These children embraced us with love and affection which has left us overwhelmed,"said Soni Kinnar.

The transgenders had got some goodies for the children to make their day.

“We wish that the children get successful in their lives, and do not spend aimless lives like us,"said Debaki Kinnar President, Puri Kinnar Mahasangh.

“As the blessings of Lord Jagannath is with us in every step of life, we wish that the children here would achieve every dream,” wished Pinky Kinnar.
