Bhadrak: Taking a cue from last year’s bitter experience of law and order situation in this district headquarters town ignited by objectionable social media postings hurting religious sentiment, the district as well as police administration has imposed prohibitory orders (CrPC Section 144) and the police force conducted flag march on Saturday.

Taking into consideration the suspected deterioration in law and order situation during the upcoming Ram Navami procession, it has been not permitted by the administration this year.

Apart from this, the administration has advised the public and also put a ban on posting objectionable posts, videos or photographs maligning and provoking religious sentiments.

The administration has already deployed 21 platoons of police force to avert anything untoward and tackle promptly the sudden incidents threatening socio-religious harmony.
