Bhubaneswar: As the issue of allegedly missing key of Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar is politically raging day by day and opposition is up in arms against BJD-led State Government despite Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik having already ordered for a judicial inquiry and a retired judge of Orissa High Court also appointed, Odisha wing BJP on the day started lodging FIRs at the police stations against the accused persons demanding swift investigation and legal action.

In his media reactions after lodging the FIR, Odisha wing BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan burst, “This State Government is least concerned about Odisha’s presiding deity Lord Jagannath’s Ratna Bhandar and also least bothered about the public sentiment.”

“While Lord Jagannath is the Lord of the Universe, His Ratna Bhandar (treasure)’s precious key is missing. It implies that everything is unsafe and insecured here in Odisha. Lord Jagannath is unsafe and His treasure trove also unsafe,” he alleged.

The BJP leader also stated, “The State Govrnment’s Judicial Inquiry order and report in 3 months is an unjust step. Hence, BJP on behalf of the public and their sentiment decided to lodge FIR against the State Government and the authorities responsible for the missing key from today across Odisha. We demand speedy investigation and punishment to the guilty soon.
