Odisha And Chhattisgarh Police Nab Extortionists Posing As Pak Terrorist

Cuttack: A team of Chhattisgarh and Odisha police arrested three persons in connection with extortion of money posing as Pakistani terrorist on Friday.

The three accused have been identified as Dheeraj Rao, Swapnajit Pradhan and Janmajay Das.

According to reports, the trio posed as members of Pakistani terror group and used SIM boxes to make calls to extort money.

Police have seized SIM boxes and 104 ATM cards from their possession.

Notably, few months ago Mumbai police had arrested four persons from Berhampur for operating SIM boxes for extorting money and having links with underworld don Chhota Rajan.
