Kandhamal Twin Jaga To Be Fit In Next 45 Days, Kalia’s Treatment To Continue In AIIMS: Odisha Health Minister

06 December 2017

Bhubaneswar: Apart from the successful ‘surgery of separation’ of Kandhamal conjoined twins Jaga-Kalia in Delhi AIIMS, the speedy recovery of Jaga has further brighten the ray of hope as he is likely to be declared fit and fine in next one and half months for which his discharge formality process has begun.

On the other hand, Kalia is gradually improving and hence his treatment will continue as usual there till both are ceritified fit and fine and discharged together.

This was informed to media on Wednesday by Odisha Health Minister Pratap Jena here. Briefing media on the latest development quoting Delhi AIIMS sources, Jena informed that discharge process for Jaga has begun as he is expected to be certified fit by the doctors in the next 45 days. He will be formally discharged, but stay over there till Kalia is discharged.

“We’re all anxiously waiting for the remarkable moment when we’ll welcome both Jaga and Kalia here,” beamed the Odisha Helath Minister.
