Bhubaneswar: A Nigerian national, who has reportedly been living here allegedly with an expired visa, has been asked by the Commissionerate Police to leave India by June 16.

The Nigerian national has been identified as Goodness Thomsen Igoi.

Earlier, Igoi had filed a complaint at the Kharavela Nagar Police Station that his passport had been missing. When police initiated a probe after taking note of the passport number and identity of Igoi, they came to know that the validity of his visa has already expired six months back.

The Commissionerate Police had also contacted the Nigerian Embassy to find out the identity of Igoi.

Notably, the Nigerian national in question drew the attention of the police following his complaint.
