Youth Loses Palm In Group Clash In Odisha's Balangir

Bolangir: A youth's palm was chopped off while another sustained critical injuries in a group clash over previous enmity at Rajeev Nagar area in Balangir Town on Monday.

Reportedly, the youths identified as Alok Ranjan Das and Amit Patnaik had been confronted by a group of six to seven persons, who had a heated argument with them and later attacked them with sharp weapons.

The two were immediately rushed to Government Medical College & Hospital, Balangir and after primary treatment their statements were recorded by police in presence of family members.

The youths have alleged of being attacked by two brothers Muna Padhi and Tuna Padhi along with their aides. Based on it, police has launched a manhunt to nab the accused who are still absconding.
