World Cup Hockey: German Team Visits Odisha Police Stall At Fan Village

Bhubaneswar: The German Hockey Team led by manager Eric Langner visited Odisha Police Stall at Fan Village in Kalinga Stadium today afternoon.

All the players along with managers, coach, physiotherapist and doctors visited the Police Stall and interacted with DGP Dr RP Sharma, and other Senior Officers of Odisha Police.

When the team reached Fan Village they were given a rousing welcome by Odisha Police through Police band and musical concert.

State Crime Record Bureau Director, Dr Sundhanshu Sarangi, Additional CP, Sanjaya Singh, IGP Law and Order Amitabh Thakur and other senior officers received the players.

General public, hockey enthusiasts and media persons present at the venue interacted and captured ‘selfies’ with the players.

Langner thanked Odisha Police for the reception and hospitality. There was a huge rush in the Fan Village to have glimpse of the German players. Total 25 members of German team including Captain Martin Haner and Head Coach Stefan Kermas hailed the arrangements made at the Fan Village.
