Woman, Four Kids 'Murdered' In Odisha's Sundergarh

Sundergarh: A woman and her four children have been reportedly murdered in the absence of her husband at Indupur village under Koira Police limits in Sundergarh district on Friday night.

As per a complaint lodged by the woman's husband Sudam Munda, he had returned from work today morning when he found his wife and four children missing from the house.

He found blood stains on the floor and on further search found marks of dragging and broken bangles near a well. He has alleged that some miscreants have killed his family and threw their bodies in the well on suspicion of witchcraft.

Based on the complaint, police team led by Koira Police Station Sushanta Das rushed to the spot and started pumping out water from the well with help of fire brigade.

As per latest reports, two bodies have been fished out and the operation for recovering the rest bodies was underway.
