Bhubaneswar: As the Congress suffered another debacle in general election 2019 and in Odisha no member from the party made their way towards Lok Sabha and only nine got elected for Vidhan Sabha, the party has decided some strategies to know what went wrong.

Senior Congress leader cum Balangir MLA Narasingha Mishra informed that six committees have been constituted with three members each. Each committee will cover 5 districts of Odisha and will find the cause behind the defeat. After getting the reports from the committee, Congress will work on them.

Adding to his statement, Mishra said that the members of the committees can go any places in accordance to their allotment and they can talk to any person regarding the cause of the loss in the recent polls. Basically what people need and how their problems will be solved, these should be points of focus.

Meanwhile intellectuals have questioned, while the opposition Congress was routed in Odisha in both the 2014 and 2019 and put up a poor performance in the simultaneous assembly elections, how far the strategy of Narasingha Mishra will work now.
