Bhubaneswar: After the recent announcement by BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik that his party will field 33 per cent women among its candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, his residence Naveen Niwas has been witnessing a beeline of several leaders and aspirants.

The presence of sitting Kalahandi MP Arka Keshari Deo with spouse Malavika Devi at Naveen Niwas today raised speculations if he is going to be replaced by his wife as BJD candidate from his parliamentary constituency in forthcoming polls.

After coming out of Naveen Niwas, Malavika said, "It will be best if he (Arka Keshari Deo) gets the ticket and rest depends on the supremo."

Though she said it is her heartiest wish that her husband gets the ticket, on being further asked if she will contest elections if given a chance, she answered in the positive.
