Bhubaneswar: With the bugle blown for the general elections (both Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly), all parties have geared up for electoral strategy and selection of candidates. In this context, ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has once again made up its mind to be in the fray sans any alliance.

This was clearly stated by BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today.

Replying to media queries at Naveen Niwas on the sidelines of a BJD joining programme, the regional satrap averred, “We will fight on our own.”

Responding to another media query on selection of BJD candidates to be fielded this time for both Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, he made it clear saying, “The selection will be winnability.”

Notably, he had informed yesterday that the list of party candidates will be announced soon and exuded confidence for faring very well in the elections.
