Balasore: An assistant sub inspector (ASI) of police has been caught on camera while reprimanding a woman plaintiff at Simulia police station.

The woman, Sandhyarani Nayak had come to the police station demanding action over a complaint which she had filed against her sister-in-law on December 18, 2018.

When she demanded an explanation for no-action in the case, Nayak and her relative were severely scolded by on-duty ASI D Nanda.

Nayak’s relative recorded the entire sequence of events on a mobile camera and the same video has gone viral on social media.

On the other hand, Nanda has denied to have used harsh words against either of them. “A case has been registered on the basis of her complaint and appropriate action will be taken,” said Nanda.
