Bhubaneswar: French Odissi dancer Mahina Khanum has extended help to Odisha for relief and restoration work after extremely severe Cyclone FANI left behind a trail of destruction. The graceful dancer has contributed to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and has also urged others to do so.

Along with a heartfelt video, she wrote on social media, "Two weeks ago, the State of Odisha (Eastern India) was hit by one of the most devastating cyclones in decades. Friends and places which I had visited just weeks before have been badly affected."

"We contributed to the CMO Odisha Relief Fund, and we encourage you to contribute too, each and everyone according to their means (see first comment below). But we felt we needed to do a bit more than that. So here are a few words from us to all of our friends in Odisha."
