Bhubaneswar: At a time when India is battling with COVID-19, several celebrities, corporate house and commoners have come forward and made donations to the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) and the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund).
As a responsible corporate house, Utkal Builders too donated a sum of Rs 10,00,000 to the CMRF– COVID 19, and a sum of Rs 5,00,000 to the PM CARES Fund. With the donation, the organisation has shown solidarity to the governments in the fight against this pandemic and help them provide for food and other essentials to needy.
"Times are extremely difficult & uncertain. Clearly, there would be economic meltdown so most of the companies will face cash flow problems. But we must still support our government and our society in every way possible" said the managing director of the group Mr Sharad Baid, encouraging others to also follow suit.
"Let’s also express our gratitude to the many acts of bravery, kindness and support that we have witnessed by the medical professionals & police in our state. This troubling time has brought out the best in many" he further added.
