Unique Golden Triangle Relay Run Held By Bhubaneswar Cycling Club

Bhubaneswar: In a novel initiative by the Bhubaneswar Cycling and Adventure Club (BCAC), they have undertaken on a Golden Triangle Relay Run for spreading awareness about Climate Change and make people responsible for its protection.

The run was flagged off today at 7 am by CMD, Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation, Lalit Das in presence of Sanjeeb Panda IPS Transport Commissioner, Ajay Kumar Nanda Secretary BCAC and BCAC members.

This unique concept of Relay Run, which connects the most significant cultural heritages of Odisha through the routes of Golden Triangle – Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar. Shared as a Relay Running among 15 runners running 10KMs individually, this unique running event covers the Golden Triangle of Odisha over a distance of 151Kms.

With BCAC’s message of “Climate – Time to Protect”, the prime purpose of the relay run is to spread the message of good health and active life with a responsible living on the earth.

The route of the relay run is from Shri Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, Pipili, Nimapara, Sun Temple of Konark and Shri Jagannath Temple of Puri, Sakhigopal, Pipili and finish at the Lingaraj Temple covering a total distance of 151KMs today at about 10 PM.
