Bhubaneswar: Two minor children in Odisha have been affected by COVID-19. According to the data released by the State Government, the case number 47 and 48 who tested positive for COVID-19 are minors.
These two girls belong to Jharpada area of Bhubaneswar and are aged 9 years and 5 years respectively. According to the Health and Family Welfare data, “both of them are close relatives of case number 42”.
A 37-year-old relative of these two girls has also tested positive for COVID-19. The sample test reports of these three persons was shared by the Health Department on Thursday midnight.
The three of them are relatives of case number 42 who succumbed at AIIMS Bhubaneswar on April 6. He was 72 and had tested positive for COVID-19.
The two minor girls and the 37-year-old woman had visited AIIMS Bhubaneswar on April 4 and 5 to attend their family member (case number 42) who was undergoing treatment for respiratory distress.
