Two Bears Killed In Truck Collision In Odisha's Jajpur

Jajpur: In a tragic incident, a bear and its cub were found dead, after a truck mowed them down while they were crossing the road near NH 20 Ragadi Chowk.

Reportedly, the incident occured early on Tuesday morning. The bears are suspected to be coming from the Korabandi Jungle when the incident took place. While the mother bear was eight years old while the cub was barely six months old.

Locals spotted the boy and immediately informed the forest department. On intimation, officials reached the spot and recovered the carcasses for post mortem.
