Training On KALIA Scheme Will Benefit All Stakeholders: Odisha Agriculture Minister

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to make the pioneering KALIA scheme reap benefits for the beneficiaries across Odisha in a time-bound manner, the State Government today organized a significant training programme at the Krushi Bhawan here.

Informing media, Odisha Agriculture Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera said, “Those who will be imparted training in this programme today, they will also impart training to the block level officers, panchayat officers, area officers and also the farmers.”

He further informed, “Today’s trained officials will make aware the farmers of this scheme (KALIA) and also monitor it. The farmers will be made well aware of the various components the scheme has starting from fishery to goat rearing, honey harvesting etc.”

“We are hopeful that this programme will reach the farmers. The trained persons will take down the training to the grassroots level and in a time-bound manner,” the Agriculture Minister asserted.
