Three Minor Boys Killed In Separate Drowing Incidents In Odisha

Dhenkanal/Keonjhar: Three minor boys were killed in separate drowning incidents in Dhenkanal and Keonjhar districts of Odisha on Wednesday.

Reportedly, one Pratap Nayak of Nimichira under Sadar police limits in Dhenkanal district had gone for fishing with his friends after returning from school. After fishing he was taking a bath in the village pond when he suddenly drowned in it.

His friends immediately informed the villagers, who rescued Pratap from the pond and rushed him to district headquarters hospital, where doctor declared him brought dead.

Similarly in Keonjhar, two cousins identified as Rudra Narayan Ojha and Subha Prakash Sutar drowned in Baitarani river.

The duo had gone to the river to take a bath with their maternal uncle when the mishap occurred at Kodapada village in Anandapur.
