Rourkela: BJP’s Sundargarh Lok Sabha candidate-cum-Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram today thanked former Rourkela MLA Dilip Ray for supporting BJP and also simultaneously appealed him to be back in the party as the resignation tendered by him has not yet been accepted.

He also appealed Dilip Ray to be back in BJP and be the star campaigner as well as address Yogi Adityanath’s meeting.

Responding to media query, Jual replied, “He (Dilip Ray) had earlier stated at a meeting if he got the proof of payment details of the second Brahmani bridge and upgradation of IGH works, he would support BJP. After receiving the proof, Dilip Babu has thanked the Prime Minister. I have also thanked and expressed my gratitude to Dilip Babu. Also I thank him for supporting our party.”

“Dilip Babu’s resignation wasn’t accepted. It was only accepted in the Assembly not by our party,” stated Jual Oram.

On the sidelines of releasing BJP’s “New Odisha Sankalp Patra” (resolution for new Odisha) and convening a press meet at BJP’s Panposh Organisational unit in the city here, Jual informed, “Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a massive electoral ‘Vijay Sankalp’meeting at aerodrome ground here in the city at 9 am on April 15.”

He also informed, “I and all our MLA candidates will attend the meeting. I appeal the public to attend the meeting in large number. After Prime Minister’s recent tour of Sundargarh, wave in our favour has surged. After Yogiji’s tour, the wave will further surge. As he is the emperor of Hindu heart, the impact will be more on the occasion of Ram Navami.”
