Puri: Very few people have managed to carve a niche for themselves in the World and renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik is one of them. Representing India in several international forums, this man has always brought laurels for his countrymen and his home State Odisha. This time, Sudarsan Pattnaik has depicted Odisha's rich culture in International Sand Art Exhibition, in which 21 artists from around the world had participated.

Under this year's theme 'South Asia', several topics of India were featured. Among them, Sudarsan's 'Konark Wheel' creation has grabbed the most eyeballs. The 20-feet-long and 6-feet-high sculpture features intricate details of the magnificent Sun Temple that viewers cannot stop admiring.

The artists tweeted his creation and worte, "My sand sculpture of #Konark wheel at International #SandArt Exhibition in a sand museum in Japan. 21 artists from around the world are participating in this exhibition."

While praises poured in on social media, Odisha Tourism too shared the photos and tweeted, "Renowned sand artist @sudarsand showcases Odisha's only UNESCO World Heritage Site - the magnificent Konark Sun Temple at the #SandArtExhibition, Japan & we can't help but admire the intricate detailing. #OdishaTourism."
