STF Initiates Process To Confiscate Properties Of Drugs Trade Kingpin Raja

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch has identified properties worth over Rs 1 crore in the name of drugs trading kingpin Sk Raja and his kin or friends and has initiated the process to confiscate the same.

STF SP Rahul PR informed that they have written to concerned authorities for confiscation of the properties. The identified immovable and movable properties include three plots, one two-storied building, one flat in Balasore along with three trailers and one KTM motorbike.

Earlier on September 23, the STF had sealed a flat of Raja at Samvedna Apartment in Telengasahi of Balasore, registered in the name of his wife Priya Bibi.

Raja, who was wanted by the STF in multiple cases under the NDPS Act and Arms Act, had been arrested on September 16. The sleuths had seized 130 grams brown sugar, Rs 1 lakh, a country-made pistol loaded with five bullets and a car from his possession.
