Bhubaneswar: The South Korean Hockey Team arrived in Bhubaneswar for friendly matches ahead of Men’s Hockey World League Final to be played from December 1 at Kalinga Stadium.

“We have come here early for the practice matches. There are very strong teams in this tournament. Out of 20 players, 10 are young and unexperienced. We are looking forward for the practice session and friendly matches ahead of the tournament,” said the South Korean coach to the media persons at the Biju Patnaik Airport after arrival.

It is worth mentioning that South Korea is not a part of this game. The eight participating countries of Men’s Hockey World League Final are India, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, England, Germany, Netherlands, & Spain.

Meanwhile, the Indian men’s hockey team was in its second day practice session at the Kalinga Stadium, sweating out hard under the able guidance of coach Sjoerd Marijne. Team India is confident of displaying a great performance after a winning the Asia Cup in Dhaka last month.

The initiation of this prestigious tournament will be played between Germany and England while the Indian team will lock horns against Australia in the second game of the first evening.
