‘Bhubaneswar Cycling And Adventure Club’ Makes A Mark At Mumbai Marathon

Bhubaneswar: A six-member team of Bhubaneswar Cycling and Adventure Club (BCAC) successfully completed the 42-kms distance at the Tata Mumbai Marathon held on Sunday.

The team members - Transport Commissioner, Sanjeeb Panda, Special Task Force SP, Dr Satyajit Naik, Ajay Kumar Nanda, Biswajit Tarai, Rajkumar Gunawat and Manas Sarangi were awarded with medals for achieving the feat.

Tata Mumbai Marathon is the largest marathon in Asia which witnessed a footfall of more than 40,000 athletes from across the world.

BCAC has been a regular participant in the event since 2016. BCAC members also participate in 42-kms marathon conducted at Delhi, Kolkotta, Hyderabad, Leh and Pune regularly.

In the previous Tata Steel Bhubaneswar Half Marathon more than 60 members of BCAC participated. BCAC has earlier conduccted mega cycling events which included trips from Vietnam to Cambodia, Bhubaneswar to Bhutan, Cuttack to Kathmandu and Manali to Khardung-la.
