Security Guard's 'Murder' In Odisha's Capital: 3 Persons Held For Interrogation By Commissionerate Police

Bhubaneswar: Three days after the death of a security guard in premises of a marble factory near Pahala area, the Twin City Commissionerate Police held three persons in connection with the incident today.

The factory owner, his brother and one Dibakar Bhuiyan alias Bubuna have been detained for interrogation. According to reports, Bubuna's name was mentioned in a handwritten note that was recovered from the deceased Gadadhar Swain's shirt pocket.

On Thursday morning, Gadadhar was found dead with his throat slit in the marble factory, where he was employed as a security guard. Gadadhar had deep cut wounds on his throat which led to profuse bleeding following which he died, said sources. The weapon used for the murder from the spot has also been sized. Basing on the allegations of family members, a murder case was registered and probe began into the incident.
