Bhubaneswar: “We all must endeavour to work hard to keep intact the trust of people in our Brand. Trust deficiency can lead to death of a Brand,” said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday while attending the Sambad Corporate Excellence Awards 2019 in Bhubaneswar.

Addressing the gathering during the event, Patnaik said, Brands are like living organisms that require continuous support for growth. Experts are there to look into the issue of Brand Value. However, for a human being or an organisation or a Brand, Trust is the most important thing in one's life.

Patnaik stated that in the age of market economy and globalisation, both the challenges and opportunities for corporate sector are humongous. Developing a brand, making it acceptable with continuous strive for value addition is certainly a great challenge.

He commended the people who have successfully developed respectable brands and are great innovative leaders of our time.

The Chief Minister further stated that over last several years, Odisha has made a name for itself in the arena of business and industry in our country and proved as a leading State in Ease of Doing Business and attracting investments.

“Our Policy Mechanisms for big and small industries, start-ups, skill development including a dedicated team for grounding of all viable investment proposals have boosted the confidence of investors and new entrepreneurs in us. In the Make in Odisha in November, we attracted investment intents of Rs 4.2 lakh crore with a potential of about 6 lakh new job creations. More than 300 Start-Ups with innovative business ideas have registered in Odisha,” he added.

Patnaik asserted that the investment climate of Odisha is fine enough for encouraging new ventures and in next few years, many more new brands will come up from Odisha to become the pride of India, and the State will successfully develop a culture of trade and industry.
