**Cuttack:** Frequent road mishaps in the State have claimed several lives in the last month and have also left many critically injured many. While the foggy winter mornings can be the reason of causing poor sight of the drivers, rash driving is also one of the main reasons. Today alone, at least four accidents have been reported from different districts.
At least 7 injured after a private bus travelling from Nuapada to Bhubaneswar collided with truck at Khuntuni bazaar. Reports stated that at least 5 injured were admitted to Athagarh hospital while 2 persons who sustained critical injuries have been shifted to Cuttack SCB hospital.
Meanwhile in Balasore, one person was killed and 5 others including the patient were injured after an ambulance they were travelling in collided with truck on NH-60 near Haladipada.
Another person was left injured as an ambulance overturned after losing control due to dense fog near Pathara chhak on Udala-Baripada road.
In another incident, three persons including a shopkeeper were injured as a truck rammed into shop after hitting 2 electric poles at Baula bazaar near Nischintakoili police station. While two persons were admitted to local hospital, one person shifted to Cuttack SCB for having sustained grievous injuries.
