Bhubaneswar: Based on the recommendations of Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Surendra Kumar, the Election Commission of India on Tuesday ordered for re-polling at two booths, one in Malkangiri and the other in Berhampur.

Reportedly, after completion of the Phase-I polling in Odisha on April 11, Kumar informed that while some miscreants had damaged the EVM machine in one booth, there was negligence of duty by the Presiding Officer in another booth.

The re-polling will be conducted at booth number 254 in MPV-65 under Malkangiri assembly constituency and City High School under Berhampur assembly constituency from 7 am to 4 pm and 7 am to 6 pm respectively.
