Bhubaneswar: The re-polling at nine booths in Odisha, which had been adjourned during Phase-II polls (April 18) following human error of mispairing Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha EVMs with their respective VVPATs, concluded peacefully on Thursday.
The highest voter turnout of 79.03 per cent was recorded at Booth No-182 in Surada assembly segment of Aska Lok Sabha constituency followed by 77.93 per cent at Booth No-254 in Brajrajnagar assembly segment of Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency.
While Booth No-235 in Attabira assembly segment of Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency recorded a voter turnout of 73.8 per cent, Booth No-16 in Padambar and Booth No-68 in Bargarh assembly segments recorded a turnout of 68 per cent.
Booth No-213 in Sundargarh and Booth No-129 in Bonai assembly segments of Sundargarh Lok Sabha constituency recorded a voter turnout of 70.5 per cent. Likewise, Booth No-210 and Booth No-222 in Daspalla assembly segment of Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency recorded a voter turnout of 68.15 per cent.
