Ranjib Biswal Appointed As Congress National Spokesperson

Bhubaneswar: AICC president Rahul Gandhi appointed Congress MP Ranjib Biswal as national spokesperson of Indian National Congress, informed AICC's in-charge of Communications, Randeep Singh Surjewala, on Thursday.

Besides, Gandhi has also approved the appointment of Shailendra as National Media Co-ordinator and re-designation of Rachit Seth as National Media Co-ordinator, stated Surjewala in a press release.

Biswal is a former Indian cricketer and the former Chairman of Indian Premier League. He had also held the position of Chairman National Cricket Academy (NCA) and President of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).

He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha by Congress in April 2014.
