Bhubaneswar: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Raj Babbar during his Odisha visit to campaign for party candidates targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for neglecting the State.
Babbar said, nearly five years back Modi had promised to accord the special category status to Odisha but even after five years he has not fulfilled his promise.
He alleged, Modi conducts road shows, raises slogans of patriotism and returns back by wiping off the sweat but the current national manifesto of BJP has no mention about Odisha, which is a possessor of all resources.
Babbar further said, BJP has never been concerned about any public related issues. It seems Modi has nothing to do with such issues including the 50 lakh jobs lost during his rule.
