Rain To Hit Parts Of Odisha Till Jan 4

Bhubaneswar: Rainfall is likely to hit several districts of Odisha till January 4, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.

As per a special bulletin of IMD, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Deogarh, Sonepur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal and Bolangir today.

On January 2, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha.

Further, as per a yellow warning issued by the IMD, heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated place over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Jharsuguda. And, thunderstorm with lighting and hail is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Deogarh, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Jharsuguda.

On January 3, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of coastal Odisha and at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha.

Another yellow warning has been issued for the date as per which thunderstorm with lighting is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak Jajpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Angul.

On January 4, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Coastal Odisha.
