Police Encounter Yet Again In Ganjam, Dreaded Criminal Injured

Ganjam: Dreaded criminal Jogi Gouda (28) sustained injuries on his left leg in an encounter at Marada Chhak under Polasara PS with the police at around 1:30 am today. One mouser with three rounds of live ammunition and one M / C was seized from his possession.

Jogi sustained bullet injuries on his left leg and was admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.

According to reports, Polasara police, acting on a tip-off, had waited at Marda Square to nab the criminal.

After spotting the cops, Jogi tried to flee the spot by firing at the former following which police retaliated by firing back in which a bullet hit his left leg.

He is a dreaded criminal of K.S Nagar PS of Ganjam district involved in more than 15 cases of dacoity, robbery, attempt to murder, firing and extortion. He was a wanted criminal by police of Ganjam, Khordha, and Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar.

Notably, this criminal hails from Arjunapalli village of PSPK Nagar.
