Police Commissionerate Devises New Strategy To Curb Traffic Menace In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Capital City will soon have a full-fledged strategy to address the traffic woes which are compounding day in and day out. With the appointment of an young IPS officer to the post of DCP Traffic, the State Police headquarters has sent a clear signal that redressal of traffic issues remain on the latter's priority.

Newly appointed Traffic DCP of Bhubaneswar Sagarika Nath today said that Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi and senior officers of the Police Commissionerate are working on a strategy to ease the traffic congestion and related problems of the Capital City.

"This is a responsible post for which I am gratified to my senior officials. As per the directions of the Police Commissioner we are charting out a plan for improving the traffic situation in Bhubaneswar. The plans will be rolled out soon," Nath said.
