PM Modi To Visit Odisha On May 6, Take Stock Of Cyclone FANI Situation

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the landfall of severe cyclonic storm FANI near Puri coast yesterday and the havoc it wreaked upon Odisha, especially the coastal districts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit the State on May 6 (Monday) in a bid to take stock of the situation. 

PM Modi on his official Twitter handle tweeted today, “Spoke to Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Ji and discussed situation prevailing due to #CycloneFani. Assured continuous support from Central Government in the wake of the cyclone. Entire nation stands in solidarity with all those affected by cyclone in different parts.”

As per sources, the Prime Minister will be in Odisha on Monday morning next week.
