Bhubaneswar: Days after the publication of Odisha Matric Exams, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education of Odisha on Saturday issued notification for the admission process in Plus Two courses across the State.
As per the notification, admission process in as many as 1500 junior colleges including Self Financing, Upashastri and Vocational Higher Secondary Schools, will begin from June 28. Candidates will have to visit the website www.samsodisha.gov.in and apply Common Application Form (CAF) online between 11 am on June 6 and June 20.
The applicants are required to submit the printout of the CAF along with other documents at the SAMS Resource Centre by 5 pm on June 21. The first phase merit list and cut-off mark will be out on June 26 and the selected applicants can enrol between June 28 and July 2.
Meanwhile, the merit list of ‘Second Selection’ candidates will be out on July 8 and the admission of the students will be between July 9 and July 11.
Registration of students for ‘Spot Admission’ is to be done by 2 pm on July 18. The spot admission into the vacant seats will be held between July 20 and 22. The classes will commence from July 24.
Application Fees for General Category is Rs 300 and for SC/ST Category is Rs 200.
