Salepur (Cuttack): Addressing the gathering at Kulia here meant for galvanizing the booth level party workers, BJP national president Amit Shah today called upon them to ensure that the next government in Odisha is of BJP after this year’s general election.

Addressing his party workers, Amit Shah exhorted, “Let’s take a pledge here to form a new Odisha.”

“BJP is the only party who can champion the pride and prestige of Odisha and its Odia language and culture. We are the only party who can be able to make Utkal Gourab touch the zenith of glory,” the BJP national president claimed.

He further stated, “If you wish to fulfill the dreams of Buxi Jagabandhu and all other Saheeds (martyrs), it can be done only by Narendra Modi-led government and no one else.”

“Among all the parties, our BJP party is absolutely different as it is a party of workers not of leaders,” he avowed.

He also asserted, “When the party plunges into the fray and strengthens its organization, the booth level workers are the de facto chieftains not me.”

He also affirmed, “If BJP is the victor, the entire credit goes to the party workers. Not only at the Centre, the next government in Bhubaneswar (Odisha) will also be of BJP,” he averred.

Launching scathing attack on the Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha Government, the BJP national president burst, “The State Government here is hindering the path of development and doesn’t want it reaches the people at the grassroots level. Odisha is replete with wealth and natural resources as well as hardworking youth mass, but development still eludes. We’ll give such a government here in the State that would make Odisha country’s No 1.”

“Modiji is building new India and also wishes to build new Odisha. New Odisha is the State where there will no unemployment, no pollution and insanitary condition, no diseases, no poverty. This type of Odisha is possible under the leadership of Narendra Modiji,” Shah argued.

Notably, the meeting was attended by the BJP workers from four Lok Sabha constituencies of coastal Odisha which also comprised 28 assembly segments as well as over 7000 booths.
