Parks And Public Places Would Remain Open On Valentine’s Day: Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: All parks and public places would remain open for the denizens on February 14 (Valentine's Day). Twin City police chief Satyajit Mohanty said that the public places would be under guarded by the cops.

Mohanty urged the youths to celebrate the day 'decently'. His advice for the couples was to abstain from any form of obscenity and impropriety.

Mobile patrolling, PCR vans and static patrolling personnel would guard different parks and public places across the city. “None of the shopping malls and parks would be shut. Around 12 to 15 platoon force would be deployed in different parts of the city,” said Mohanty.
