Paradip Man Uploads Obscene Contents Creating Woman Sarpanch's Fake Facebook Profile, Arrested

Paradip: A 35-year-old man was arrested by the cops for allegedly creating a fake social media profile of a woman Sarpanch and posting obscene content on it.

The arrested has been identified as Choudhury Prakash Beura alias Jhatua of Nuagaon village under Abhyachandpur police limits.

According to reports, Beura wanted to marry the woman Sarpanch. However, she tied the nuptial knot with another youth.

Peeved at it, the jilted lover created her fake Facebook profile out of vengeance and posted nude photos and vulgar statuses on it.

The matter came to light when the woman’s acquaintances and relatives, who had been added in the fake profile’s friend list, informed her about the obscene contents.

Paradip Police arrested Beura under Section 66-A of the IT Act Sarpanch after the woman lodged a complaint regarding the matter. The mobile phone used for opening of the fake profile was also seized from his possession.
