Over 1 Lakh Basundhara Beneficiaries Allotted Homestead Land Between 2014 & June 2019

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Sudam Marandi today informed the Assembly that 142497 homesteadless families in the State have been allotted homestead land under the Basundhara Yojana between the year 2014 and June 2019.

Replying to a query made by BJD MLA Arabinda Dhali, the Revenue and Disaster Management Minister also apprised the House that 30.704 bona fide beneficiaries have been allotted homestead land till June in the current year.

Detailing on the list, he informed the House:

Balangir District – 2252 homesteadless families

Balasore District – 2784 homesteadless families

Bargarh District – 2229 homesteadless families

Bhadrak District – 546 homesteadless families

Boudh District – 3374 homesteadless families

Cuttack District – 236 homesteadless families

Deogarh District – 1548 homesteadless families

Dhenkanal District – 7090 homesteadless families

Gajapati District – 7942 homesteadless families

Ganjam District – 14647 homesteadless families

Jagatsinghpur District – 179 homesteadless families

Jajpur District – 569 homesteadless families

Jharsuguda District – 2467 homesteadless families

Kalahandi District – 16775 homesteadless families

Kandhamal District – 1890 homesteadless families

Kendrapara District – 550 homesteadless families
