Odisha: Youths Duped On Pretext Of Job At Puri Srimandir

Puri: As many as three youths on Saturday leveled allegations of being duped to the tune of lakhs of rupees by a miscreant who had promised them jobs at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.

According to reports, a person identifying himself as an employee of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) had collected money from the youths on the pretext of giving them jobs in the temple.

The three youths of Khordha’s Daleiput area also showed joining letters bearing fake stamp of SJTA, that was given to them by the accused.

Laxmidhar Pujapanda, Public Realtions Officer of SJTA informed that official job advertisements from the SJTA are always made in newspapers and no such official announcement had been made in the recent past. SJTA has urged the youths to lodge a complaint in this regard with the Singhadwara police for further probe into the matter.
