Odisha: Two Women Found Dead In Ganjam & Jajpur, Husbands Detained

Ganjam/Jajpur: In similar incidents, two women were found dead in Ganjam and Jajpur today morning at Narendrapur village and Teligada Mundasahi respectively.

In Ganjam, the deceased has been identified as Lisarani Senapati. She was allegedly bludgeoned to death by her husband Babula Senapati, following which he had fled the scene.

Villagers found her bloodied body and informed the cops. Subsequently, Chamakhandi police launched a manhunt, managed to detain the accused husband and further probe is currently underway.

In Jajpur, the deceased has been identified as Kadam Purti. Kadam and her husband Laxman Murti got into an altercation last night following which he stoned her to death in a fit of rage. Badachana police has detained Laxman and further investigation is on.
