Odisha: Three Injured In Separate Bear Attacks

Balasore/Keonjhar: Three persons were critically injured in separate bear attack incidents across the State.

In Balasore, one Jayaram Singh of Rangapur village in Jamudiha panchayat was mauled by a bear today in the wee hours while he was on nature’s call. He sustained grievous injuries on face, head, back and hand, and was rushed to the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

In Keonjhar, a villager of Adharajhari village in Anandpur of Keonjhar district suffered critical injuries in another bear attack case.

The injured, identified as Renga Ho has been admitted to the Anandpur hospital in a critical condition.

Another Jiki Ho of Asanbani village in Keonjhar also sustained grievous injuries after he was mauled by a bear today morning. Jiki Ho was first admiited at Anandpur Hospital but as later shifted to SCB Medical in Cuttack when his condition worsened.
