Bhubaneswar: Severe cold wave conditions would continue to shiver Odisha during next 48 hours as the minimum temperature remained below 10 degree Celsius at 19 stations on Tuesday night. Daringibadi and Phulabani have been recorded below 4 and 4.5 degree Celsius respectively.
The twin cities Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded 9.4 and 9.5 degrees minimum temperature respectively. There has ben a slight increase in minimum temperature at most places of the State.
The minimum temperature was 6.4 degree C in Keonjhar, Sundergarh and Titlagarh (7 degrees). Koraput town recorded 6.6 degree C, Jharsuguda 7.6 degree C and Balangir 8 degree C.
The mercury dropped to 9.4 degree C in Talcher and Malkangiri, 9.2 degree C in Baripada, and 9.1 degree C in Hirakud.
