Several senior police officials led the programme at different schools today, where students in large numbers turned up to pledge to follow road safety norms.

DCP Traffic, Sagarika Nath said, "The initiative is a two-pronged approach. The children will advise their parents to follow traffic rules. And secondly, these youngsters are our future road owners, so they must be thorough with the traffic norms."
