Bhubaneswar: Soon after the State Government formally appointed 1986 batch Odisha cadre IAS officer Asit Kumar Tripathy as the next Chief Secretary succeeding his outgoing predecessor Aditya Prasad Padhi, Tripathy today laid utmost stress on the effective implementation of Chief Minister’s 5T mantra after assuming office on August 19.

On the sidelines of the investiture ceremony for Police Medals, Tripathy in his media reactions said, “I’m extremely happy. It’s a big privilege for any IAS officer. Also it is a big responsibility.”

In Odisha’s present administrative priority, the Hon’ble Chief Minister has clearly laid out that all the schemes, projects and programmes for the social justice sector should be implemented with complete transparency, on time and with full integrity. 5T policy has been made so that all the people could reap the benefits.”

“Next is growth area. We have to now strive out increasing the per capita income of Odisha, increase in infrastructure, increase in employment, etcas they  are also our State’s priority. Hence, I will be putting my shoulder to the wheel for achieving it,” the new Chief Secretary asserted.
